MAKING GLOOP
Today in room 2 we made gloop. We were trying to find out what would happen when we combined a liquid and a solid, cornflour and water. We made predictions whether the cornflour would stay a solid or if the water would turn it into a liquid. Here are some photos of the process.
We discovered that we could roll the mixture into a ball in our hands but then it melted back into a liquid. This was because the particles separated once we stopped rolling it in our hands.

Wow Room Two! This looks like a lot of fun. It's really cool how the class made predictions about what they thought was going to happen. The photos of them playing with the gloop looks like heaps of fun :)
